Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
This morning we pick up clients from their hotel and we depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive through the view point of the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. The wild animals found in the Park are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles. Dinner and overnight at the budget camp/lodge.
Day 2: Full day exploring Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full day spent for viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp
Day 3: Maasai Mara
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the reserve Masai Mara is famous for vast rolling plains and round hills of interminent groves of acacia woodland and dense thickets of shrubs. A picnic lunch at the hippo pool gives you a chance to spot crocodiles and hippos basking on the rocks you should expect to see three major animals of the big five namely The elephant lion and buffalo the leopard and Rhino are shy and elusive and you will be lucky to spot them, large herds of wild beasts zebras Masai giraffe can be sighted as well as scavengers like hyenas and vultures, Rest of the meals and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 4: Masai Mara
After breakfast depart on a morning game drive in this reserve which is essentially the Northern extension of Tanzanians Serengeti National park take your lunch on your lodge or campsite In the afternoon you have a choice of three activities, a game drive , a nature walk with a native Masai guide or alternatively visit a Masai village and learn their nomadic lifestyle (at an extra cost ) payable directly to the Masai village elders after the activities return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning game drives in Masai Mara followed by late breakfast at the campsite/lodge then depart for Nairobi by road. Overnight in Nairobi Hotel
Day 6: Nairobi-Arusha.
Pick up from your hotels in Nairobi at 7.30 am drive to Arusha with a stopover at the border post for immigration formalities, arrive in Arusha to be met by one of our staff followed by safari briefing, overnight in Arusha Hotel.
Day 7: Arusha- Lake Manyara
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at morning leave for Lake Manyara National park arriving in time for lunch with afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight in your campsite/lodge.
Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park full day
The park is known for its over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests and grassy plains. A large area of the park is covered by the alkaline Lake Manyara, the seasonal breeding grounds for large colonies of flamingos and many more waterfowls. The park is also home to giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, impalas and groups of noisy monkeys and baboons. After an extensive game drive you will travel to the budget camp/lodge where you will spend your night
Day 9: Departure
After breakfast leave your campsite/lodge for the last game viewing on your way out of the park drive to Arusha. Lunch at a hotel in Arusha then connect back to Nairobi arriving early evening with drop off at your town hotel or Airport.
