DAY 01: NAIROBI HOTEL TO MASAI MARA

Pick up from airport (JKIA) or town hotel in the morning  by our driver and depart Nairobi to  Masai Mara   Game Reserve,which is  northern part of the Serengeti National park and also one of Kenya's most favored game-viewing destination. The reserve covers 700 square miles of magnificent wilderness. It is the Africa of the imagination; endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills. Afternoon game drive  hoping to see Lions in large prides, Elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain animals. Dinner and overnight at Sopa lodge.

DAY 02/03: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

Full day game viewing coupled with exploring this spectacular Park. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration is on during that time, one of nature's wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Maasai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park - Moran’s (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day .A visit to a Maasai boma (homestead) reveals this outstanding culture and customs. DAY 04: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

After breakfast you will we have full day game drives in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch will be served at Mara Sopa Lodge. This is home to all the Big Five wild  animals i.e the Elephant, the Lion, the Rhino, the leopard and the Buffalo and other wild animals found in Kenya so you will enjoy every moment in this game reserve. You will spend the 6 days 5 nights in Masai Mara where all the meals are to be served at Mara Sopa Lodge or Serena

DAY 05: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

The following day is also spent in the Maasai Mara.  Depending on what the wildlife situation is like which the guides will discover on your arrival day, they will discuss with you how to plan this day accordingly.  You might like to do an early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast and then going out again and coming back for lunch with the afternoon to relax and then going out again in the afternoon around 1600 hrs.  Alternatively, you might take an early breakfast and then go out for the day and carry lunch boxes with you.  The choice is yours and the best solution will be discussed between yourself and your guide.  Returning in the evening for dinner and overnight Sopa.

DAY 06: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

Full days spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5 - Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person Dinner and overnight at Sarova Game Lodge

The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film 'Out of Africa' was made to a great extent in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to August. The reserve abounds with birdlife since dose to about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park

DAY 07: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

You will Spend full  day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting in the morning a local Maasai village (US$30 per person).

All meals and overnight at  Mara Sarova Tented Camp lodge.

DAY 08: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

Before breakfast, a relaxing safari in Masai Mara Game Reserve at sunrise gives you a chance to catch the live action of most of the wild animals as they hunt for food before the sun becomes unbearably hot in the afternoon for the carnivores to hunt their prey. After lunch we will have another game drive in the afternoon. In the evening  Masai cultural dances can be organized around a camp fire. Dinner and Overnight stay will be at Mara Sopa Lodge.

DAY 09: MASAI MARA / NAIROBI

After breakfast, proceed for your final game;Afterwards depart Masai mara to Nairobi, arriving  Nairobi  in the evening,  drop off at  your town hotel  or airport .
