Day 1: Nairobi-Maasai Mara National Reserve
This morning we shall pick you up from your hotel and depart from Nairobi at 0730hrs and drive through the view point of the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. The wild animals found in the Parks are: Maasai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, and both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Full day exploring Maasai Mara national park.
Full day spent for viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru national park
You will have a wakeup call as early as 0600hrs, then have hot African Coffee or Tea and then proceed for Pre - morning game drive as from 0630hrs for the next 3 hours until 0930hrs, then our driver will drive you back to the lodge where you will be served with full breakfast as you check out the lodge to proceed to Lake Nakuru. Drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, animals such as zebras, gazelles, Rothschild giraffe, impala, rhino (sanctuary) among other large mammals. Arrive in Nakuru late in the evening and if time allows you will have short game drive as you head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Morning game viewing, watching and photographing birds at Nakuru National Park. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi with an en route stop for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley at the view point to arrive Nairobi at about 2pm.
